Description

About this item Detachable Thread Gauges in Case: All thread gauges are individually housed in a well-organized foam storage holder. The significant advantage is that you can easily take out any piece you need for quick thread identification. This is more convenient than dealing with a bunch of gauges on a cable or board, especially when you have to check thread sizes in tight or hard-to-reach areas. Laser-Etched Sizes on Both Sides: To distinguish between metric and inch sizes, we use blue for SAE (inch) and red for metric, making it easier for you to identify. Moreover, each thread size gauge is laser-etched on both sides, eliminating the hassle of having to rotate the gauge to check the size 3 Clear Ways to Read Size: Another highlight of this screw gauge is that you can clearly and easily read the gauge size in three ways: sizes are engraved on the gauges themselves, a size chart on an art paper sticker, and sizes screen-printed on foam. Each size on the chart or foam corresponds to the respective thread gauge, making it visually easier for you to match and pick out the desired size 23 Inch & 21 Metric: Inch sizes are in blue, including 1-12, 1-8, 3/4-16, 3/4-10, 5/8-18, 5/8-11, 9/16-18, 9/16-12, 1/2-20, 1/2-13, 7/16-20, 7/16-14, 3/8-24, 3/8-16, 5/16-24, 5/16-18, 1/4-28, 1/4-20, 10-32, 10-24, 8-32, 6-40, 6-32; Metric sizes are in red, including M3-0.5, M4-0.7, M5-0.8, M6-1.0, M7-1.0, M8-1.0, M8-1.25, M10-1.0, M10-1.25, M10-1.5, M12-1.25, M12-1.5, M12-1.75, M14-1.5, M14-2.0, M16-1.5, M16-2.0, M20-1.5, M20-2.5, M24-2.0, M24-3.0 Quick Identification and Time Saver: Simply screw the nut or bolt onto the thread gauge to check the size. It takes only seconds to determine the size. With Hylissus's standard and metric thread checker, you can easily and quickly verify the correct size of nuts and bolts, replacing snapped, loose, rusted, or old ones at home or in the garage by yourself. No need to make trips to the hardware store for size checks anymore, significantly improving your work efficiency › See more product details

I tested these on numerous bolts and found the threading on them to be almost too perfect. Many of the bolts I used were no where as clean threading and bound up when I tried to use them, but these thread size tests were flawless. Great value for the money. In particular I liked that I was able to get them out and thread them into things unlike the competitors plates of threaded holes and bolts that are only good for nuts and bolts, but not to thread INTO everyday items you need to find hardware for.
