Products:newlng company mainly produces and sells 304 stainless steel —— screw nails, u pipes, hoses, inner hexagons, outer hexagons, thumbtacks ,Expansion hook, carabiner, pan head machine wire, countersunk machine wireand so on. Expansion bolt made of 304 stainless steel, it is durable and can be used outdoors. It has better rust resistance (can be used in wet or even water, and will not rust). Read more Use principle : Expansion is created by tightening a threaded bolt, which makes the sleeve expand to a barb to against into the walls. Note: Hole size: Select a percussive drill bit of the same diameter as the expansion screw expansion tube, and install it on the electric drill to drill the wall. The depth of the hole is the same as the length of the bolt. the expansion bolts must be mounted on a relatively hard substrate, and the place where the soft and easy to fall off is unstable, such as the gap of the lime soil of the wall If the load has a large vibration, looseness may occur, so it is not recommended to install a ceiling fan. Features

Quantity: 5PCS Specifications: Total length 105mm (4.1in) expansion tube length 43mm (1.69in) opening distance 18mm (0.7in) drilling bit (diameter) 12mm (0.47in) Made of 304 stainless steel, it is durable and can be used outdoors. It has better rust resistance (can be used in wet or even water, and will not rust).

Easy installation: Use a Impact drill to drill a hole in the wall that is the same size as the expansion tube. Place the expansion hook into the hole and tighten the hex nut with a wrench. After the force, the casing expands and the tail fins hang the wall.

Expansion is created by tightening a threaded bolt which draws a tapered cone expanding a sleeve against the walls of the hole.

It should be noted that the expansion bolts must be mounted on a relatively hard substrate, and the place where the soft and easy to fall off is unstable, such as the gap of the lime soil of the wall. The expansion tube part should all enter the wall. As long as the threaded part is long enough, the sleeve part is deeper and firmer.

I installed these into cinder blocks to anchor my shade sail several weeks ago and they haven't budged since installation. My only issue is that I drilled the holes for the anchors to the same depth and one of the anchors set itself deeper than I would have liked. Overall, they performed exactly as needed. The diameter of this item does not match any standard drill bit. So, when I attempted to use it in concrete, there was slop. I could not go a size smaller on the drill bit. I tried. No amount of hammering would get it in. The only standard sized bit that would allow it to go in, resulted in slop in the hole. That said, it is appearing to hold a very, very heavy mirror (probably about 200 pounds, I used two, one on each corner) but it is not snug as it should be. It is angled down, under the weight of the mirror. I would post a picture but it is at a second home and i did not take one. I will try to update later.Fairly simple and straightforward to use. Drill a hole (already have a hammer drill for concrete), stick in the bolt and tighten until it becomes snug. Using these to help anchor a solar sail down. So far so good.Really good quality. Worked perfect for me.Came exactly as described. Just what I needed.Really sturdy. Good buy. These are used in a block wall and they work perfect. Drilled hole with concrete bit and tapped in gently with hammer then tightened the nut and screwed on the eye. The install is for a 8x12 patio sail cloth sun cover that is stretched very tight and it looks great with no sags. It’s been up for over a week and everyone who sees it is impressed. I will buy these again when needed.
